TO:  ALL ST. JOHNSBURY ACADEMY STUDENTS

FROM:  MR. CONTE, ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Fall Sports programs have begun here at the Academy.  I would like to remind student athletes that you must have a current physical form on file in the Athletic Office, signed by your physician.  This signed form may be faxed to 802-751-2117.   It is now a requirement for all Academy students to have a physical examination by a licensed physician every 12 months. This must be obtained before the start of the season in order to be eligible to participate, even in a practice.  Another important requirement to be aware of is that you must have a minimum of 10 practices before you can participate in a scheduled game.

COACH:  Mr. Sean Murphy  535-7341  or  751-2402
Assts: Mr. VanOrman, Mr. Racenet, Mr. Bugbee, Mr. Bentley, & Mr. Tomaselli

Friends of St. Johnsbury Football

The Friends of St. Johnsbury Football is a volunteer organization comprised of parents whose purpose is to support St. Johnsbury football programs through various fund raising and running the concession stands for the JV and Freshman football games.

Some things we provide are, lock down for the players after the LI game, end of year banquet and a scholarship for a senior football player. Additionally we provided t-shirts to the Pop Warner league at a recent Varsity game and will provide a  football scholarship to an area camp during the summer. If any parent or community member is interested in volunteering please contact Amy Mach 274-9468 machfamily@charter.net, Carolyn Greaves 536-2076 or Marianne Briggs 633-4333.

The Friends of Football would like to thank the community for their support in helping us support football in St. Johnsbury!

The Friends of St. Johnsbury Football are selling tickets for one SUPERFAN and three friends to win covered seating with pizza, drinks , and  a radio for the Big STJ vs LI game on October 25th.
